In chemistry, a catalyst is a substance that enables, without appearing to participate in it, a chemical reaction to proceed at a faster rate and to bind multiple elements into a final one that will offer new or better abilities. Our world simply relies on its most known catalysis: oxygen is produced from light with a catalyst in the photosynthesis process.
The virtue of the catalyst is to provoke a reaction and produce great positive effects on the final system with small amounts of it only.
We are obviously not chemists. We are management consultants.

theCatalysts is a new management consulting firm in Luxembourg.
It is driven with enthusiasm by its two founders Philippe WERY and Denis COSTERMANS who together have personally conducted more than 240 high-quality consulting assignments, carried out in the financial and non-financial sector, in Luxembourg and abroad. This considerable experience has been acquired during more than 25 years spent in the major well-known consulting firms, from which we have chosen to retain the best aspects only.
Philippe, founder and CEO, has spent the last 20 years leading different companies and/or acting in the management consulting business for various clients, from public sector to banks, and from insurances to industries. theCatalysts is named to honour its father, a chemist specialised in catalysis. Denis, co-founder, has spent the last 25 years in the consulting business, mainly advising banks and professionals of the financial sector. They met in their last position and decided to set-up theCatalysts.
Our firm is not limiteds to its founders, but it is also a growing team, with the support of experienced consultants thoroughly selected for their particular skills and their unparalleled human as technical qualities. Our experience allows us to provide quality advice to the financial sector, to commercial and industrial companies, to the public sector as well as partnering with law firms and fiduciaries to propose one-stop shop solutions to all our mutual clients.
